| The Area Beech is a small village in north eastern Hampshire, a couple of miles from the historic market town of Alton. We have our own Abbey, Chapel, Forestry and unlimited access to the open countryside. The surrounding area was home to Jane Austen, Gilbert White and the ill fated 'Sweet Fanny Adams' . The Watercress Line, which runs between Alresford and Alton should be of great interest to enthusiasts of the steam era, and the town has a history of brewing dating back centuries. Alton town is close to the source of the River Wey. The surrounding area has many beautiful old villages and there is no shortage of walking and cycling through and around these, including extensive off road routes for hikers, horse riders and mountain bikers. Alton is well situated for access from several major routes including M3, M4, and A3 roads. We also have a mainline train service to London Waterloo. Heathrow airport is around an hour and Southampton International Airport as little as 40mins away. Beech is out of Alton on the A339 Basingstoke rd, and Basingstoke is a 15 minute drive away. We are situated at the end of a quiet residential lane and have ample off road parking
